The reason for this site
Most people visit a restaurant website for two things: what is on the menu and whether there is a table. Table Nine puts both on the first screen.

The business
A small restaurant with a seasonal menu. Its guests are often on a phone, deciding where to eat tonight.

The design
Deep blue ink on a linen tablecloth and a printed menu card that opens like a book as you scroll. The dishes sit on plates around a turning table, and the specials are chalked on a board.

What a visitor can do
Open the card, move through the four courses, then pick a day, a time and a party size and tear off a sample ticket. Nothing is booked.
